Job summary

Artisan Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Sous Chef to join a friendly brigade of 5 cooking to 2AA Rosette level at a gastro pub/restaurant serving 60–100 covers, set in West Sussex near Petworth. Accommodation is available for the right candidate, and owner transport is ideal.

Expect 48–52 hour weeks with 4 double and 1 single shifts, 2.5 days off, and a salary of £26k–£30k plus tips. Must be living and working in the UK.

Job description

We are looking for a Sous Chef to join a friendly brigade of 5 cooking to 2AA Rosette level.

• We are a gastro pub/restaurant - 60 to 100 covers, everything cooked from scratch at 2AA Rosette level
• Set in the heart of West Sussex, near Petworth
• Own transport ideally.
• Accommodation available for the right candidate, a room very nearby
• Brigade of 5
• 48/52 hours: split and straights 4 doubles and 1 single
• 2.5 days off per week
• Salary depending on experience £26K/£30K plus tips.
• Must be living and working in the UK.
