Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers Leisure Retail Limited is hiring a Sous Chef to lead a kitchen section, train staff, and drive consistency in food quality across branded menus. You will step in for the Head Chef when needed and ensure smooth service in a premium pub environment.

You’ll work with a team to smash targets, manage ordering and stock, and uphold health and hygiene standards, while delivering an excellent guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team and delivering high-quality service.
• Ability to manage food ordering and stock control efficiently.
• Familiarity with branded menus and enforcing health and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen team to hit targets and maintain service pace.
• Train and inspire staff to deliver dishes to a high standard.
• Support Head Chef with ordering, prep, and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations and brand standards.
