Job summary

Technique Recruitment Solutions is assisting a beautiful countryside inn and events venue in North Norfolk to find a Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen management and deliver high-quality food across restaurant and events.

The ideal candidate has Sous Chef experience in a fresh food kitchen, can run service, work well in a team and help with menu development. Salary £35k-£40k plus tips; 48 hours; 5 days over 7.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sous Chef in a fresh food kitchen.
• Confident running service and supporting kitchen operations.
• Strong team player with good organisational skills.
• Experience with restaurant and/or event service desirable.

Job description

Our client is a beautiful countryside inn and events venue in North Norfolk, featuring a popular restaurant, bar, landscaped grounds and a busy calendar of weddings and private events. The kitchen delivers fresh, seasonal dishes across restaurant dining, afternoon teas and banqueting for events of up to 150 guests.

They are now looking for a Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen and help deliver high-quality food across both restaurant service and events.
