Job summary

Gateway Hospitality Recruitment is seeking a Sous Chef for a luxury hotel restaurant in the Milton Keynes area. You will work with fresh, seasonal ingredients to prepare meals for the restaurant, afternoon teas, and room service, supporting the Head Chef and junior staff.

The role is 45 hours per week with opportunities for career development and benefits including meals/uniform, staff discounts, parking, and live‑in accommodation if relocating.

Qualifications

Already a Sous Chef seeking a new challenge in a busy kitchen.
Experience of working with fresh food to a high standard.
Capable and able to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

Prepare meals for the hotel restaurant using seasonal produce.
Run service in Head Chef's absence.
Manage kitchen brigades including health & safety, hygiene.

Our client is a luxury Hotel who are recruiting a Sous Chef to work in their hotel restaurant. You will be working with all fresh seasonal ingredients to produce food for the restaurant and celebrations/functions. You will help prepare meals for the restaurant, afternoon teas and room service. This is an excellent career opportunity to work in a high end venue. The Head Chef is looking for a strong team player who can help and encourage junior chefs. The role is 45 hours per week.
