Job summary

Marston’s PLC in the United Kingdom is seeking a Sous Chef to join our team. You’ll be right in the action, second in command to the Head Chef, ensuring hot, quality food is presented to the pass every shift.

You’ll manage the line during service, support the Head Chef, develop the kitchen team, and uphold the highest standards of food and service. We offer flexible hours and a supportive, people-first environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role or as a Commis Chef
• Assist Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen
• Accountable for running the line during service
• Oversee and develop the kitchen team

As Sous Chef you’ll:

Be right in the action in our kitchen, second in command to our Head Chef – stepping up and covering for them when they’re not on shift.

• Offer previous branded experience in a similar role or as an experienced Commis Chef
• Assist our Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen
• Accountable for running the line during service
• Oversee, organise, and encouragethe kitchen team - helping to develop their skills
• Be passionateabout maintaining the highest standards of food and service
