Job summary

Toby Carvery Waterside is recruiting a Sous Chef within Mitchells & Butlers PLC. You will lead a kitchen section, drive performance with your team and step up in the Head Chef's absence, delivering great food and service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen as sous chef or senior chef.
• Ability to train and lead a kitchen team to deliver consistent quality.
• Knowledge of health and hygiene regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the kitchen team to smash targets.
• Train and inspire staff to deliver high-quality food.
• Assist Head Chef with food ordering, prep and stock control.
• Ensure branded menu standards are consistently followed.
• Oversee that the kitchen complies with health and hygiene regulations.
