Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC is hiring a Sous Chef at Toby Carvery, Morecambe. You will run a section, train your team and step up in the Head Chef’s absence to ensure great food and a smile on guests’ faces.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sous Chef or senior chef in a high-volume kitchen.
• Ability to train and lead a team to deliver quality food.
• Comfort with branded menus and maintaining brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
