Job summary

Fuller's in Reading is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to act as deputy to the Head Chef, taking full control of the kitchen when they’re away. You’ll champion fresh, seasonal produce and lead a busy team to deliver consistent services.

Qualifications

• Hygiene qualification required.
• Excellent food knowledge and strong food safety awareness.
• Experience as Sous Chef or in a similar chef role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take full control of the kitchen when the Head Chef is away.
• Prepare fresh food using seasonal, local ingredients.
• Bring new ideas and create fresh dishes to inspire the team.
• Lead and motivate the kitchen team to deliver high-quality service.
• Ensure pride in every service and maintain high hygiene standards.
