Job summary

Fuller’s Queen's Head in Kingston is seeking a proactive Sous Chef to support the Head Chef, lead the kitchen team, and deliver high-quality, seasonal dishes.

You will manage services in the Head Chef's absence, develop creative dishes, uphold hygiene standards, and help train and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Deputise for Head Chef and manage kitchen during absence.

Responsibilities

• Take full control of the kitchen when Head Chef is away.
• Ensure fresh food is prepared from seasonal ingredients.
• Develop new dishes and menu ideas to keep offerings exciting.
• Lead, coach and motivate the kitchen team to deliver excellent service.
• Maintain rigorous hygiene and food safety standards across all stations.
• Ensure every service runs smoothly and efficiently.
