Job summary

The Rising Sun, Bashley is a Fuller’s pub set in the heart of the New Forest, two miles from New Milton. We offer a supportive, family‑oriented environment and career growth within our pubs and hotels.

As Sous Chef you will lead the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence, ensure fresh, seasonal dishes, and drive team performance. Expect induction, fair tips, and a Chef‑led culture that values quality and growth.

Qualifications

• Hygiene qualification, excellent food knowledge and food safety awareness are essential.

Responsibilities

• Take full control of the kitchen when the Head Chef is away.
• Prepare fresh food using seasonal, local ingredients.
• Bring new ideas as a creative Sous Chef.
