Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers is hiring a Sous Chef for the Dukes Head Billericay. You will lead a kitchen section, train the team, and step up in the Head Chef's absence to ensure smooth service.

You will work within Premium Country Pubs, delivering great food and guest experiences while upholding brand standards and health & safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead kitchen teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of menu preparation and standard operating procedures.
• Understanding of food safety and HACCP principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead a kitchen section and supervise the team.
• Assist Head Chef with ordering, prep and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with branded menu and quality standards.
• Train and motivate chefs to deliver high-quality dishes.
• Support Head Chef during busy periods and holidays.
