Job summary

Eastfield Arms, part of Mitchells & Butlers, is seeking a Sous Chef to lead a kitchen section and inspire the team to deliver high-quality dishes on a branded menu. You will step in for the Head Chef when needed and drive efficiency across the kitchen in a vibrant pub setting.

You’ll train staff, manage food ordering and stock, and ensure strict adherence to health and hygiene standards while contributing to a positive guest experience at our busy site.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen section and coaching a team to work cohesively.
• Ability to assist in food ordering, preparation and stock control to meet menu standards.
• Knowledge of health and hygiene regulations and brand standards is essential.

• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
