Our clients operate this recently refurbished Country Inn with rooms in this quaint village in North Yorkshire with rail links to Leeds, York & Harrogate and are looking to recruit an innovative, creative, and passionate Sous Chef to oversee the team of talented chefs in this refurbished kitchen.


Serving a casual gastro pub style menu in a relaxed setting, you will be responsible for creating exciting new menus on a regular basis, using seasonal and local produce.


The Ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience as a sous chef or junior sous chef in a similar fresh food-led kitchen, whether in a hotel, restaurant, or gastro pub.
  • Drive and creative flair.
  • Understanding of menu development and costings.
  • Knowledge of stock control, compliance, and allergens.
  • Self-driven and proven leadership skills.
  • Experience in developing and training staff.
