Job summary

Havant Borough Council is seeking a seasoned ICT Solutions Developer to join our in-house Digital Services Team. You will support and develop council applications, ensuring robust digital systems align with business needs.

The role covers BAU and special projects, with responsibilities spanning security, data management, and procurement. A hybrid working arrangement is offered, with 37 hours per week and on-site presence as required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience in cyber security and ICT service management.
• Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development, procurement, design and cataloguing of digital solutions across council services.
• Facilitate digital discussions and drive improvement across service areas.
• Oversee ICT Infrastructure and Security contracts with vendors and partners.
• Coordinate third-party ICT service arrangements and IT delivery.
• Support local government collaboration and innovative IT initiatives.
• Create user and admin documentation for various applications.
