Job summary

Rugby Borough Council is seeking an analyst to support its core business applications and digital services. The role covers system administration, development and procedural support, with involvement in BAU activities and project delivery.

The post is 37 hours per week with hybrid working up to 60%, working closely with the Infrastructure Team to keep services reliable and secure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on infrastructure and network experience and a good understanding of GDPR and

Qualifications

• Experience in a hands-on technical role.
• Experience supporting core business applications.
• Current practical experience of infrastructure and network services, including applications, servers and their environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical system administration, system development and procedural support for core business applications.
• Deliver day-to-day business-as-usual services.
• Plan and deliver project activities.
• Provide specialist technical advice to colleagues and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of systems and services.
• Assist in providing and supporting the Council's infrastructure and network services.
• Work with the Infrastructure Team to investigate and resolve technical issues.
• Keep the systems and services underpinning applications effective and reliable.
