Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Solutions Consultant Manager to lead a District Solutions Consulting team. You will guide engineers to understand customer environments, provide solution guidance, and ensure value realization for investments in our platform.

You will be the technical leader for your territory, mentoring your team to craft innovative security solutions that protect customer business imperatives and maximize investment value.

Qualifications

• Experience as a pre-sales System Engineer Manager.
• Experience as a Senior System Engineer/Specialist.
• Industry knowledge of security product market trends and roadmap awareness.
• Knowledge of delivering comprehensive security solutions to Palo Alto Networks customers.
• Experience selling/designing/implementing/managing security solutions such as Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP or SOC Transformation.
• Partnering with Customer Support to ensure successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English; quota-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire Solutions Consultants for the territory.
• Train, mentor, and review team performance.
• Support field Solutions Consultant team in complex evaluations.
• Lead technical validation efforts to ensure technical win in opportunities.
• Define development plans for team members and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success and Specialist teams on implementations.
• Provide technical leadership in customer interactions and share security trends.
• Drive Platformization efforts within accounts and optimize resource use.
• Escalate and coordinate with pre- and post-sales teams for issues.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers and reference accounts.
• Present as a technical expert to all customer levels, from technician to CIO.
• Discuss competitor products and position Palo Alto Networks as the best option.
• Provide product feedback to Product Management based on customer insights.
• Travel 50-75% within the region.
• Develop a technical growth strategy with the DSM and target key verticals.
