Software Engineer C/C++

Overview

The Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) team conducts the most complete test of missiles other than a firing. The client designs complex, real-time simulations that surround real missile hardware to allow engineers to fire missiles indoors.

Salary: Circa GBP55,000, depending on experience

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 4 - 5 days per week on-site due to workload classification

As a HWIL Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining the underlying real-time software tools that enable simulations of real missile hardware and control of innovative equipment. You’ll also support the deployment of these tools in designing simulations and running experiments.

You should be able to adapt to new engineering situations and be comfortable abstracting detail in order to understand both the simulations and missile behaviour.
