Software Engineer C/C++
The Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) team conducts the most complete test of missiles other than a firing. The client designs complex, real-time simulations that surround real missile hardware to allow engineers to fire missiles indoors.
Salary: Circa GBP55,000, depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 4 - 5 days per week on-site due to workload classification
What the client can offer you:
The client is looking for ambitious engineers with a growth mind-set to join their team. If you’re the right person, you’ll find a supportive environment, surrounded by passionate experts while being part of a collaborative and driven team.
As a HWIL Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining the underlying real-time software tools that enable simulations of real missile hardware and control of innovative equipment. You’ll also support the deployment of these tools in designing simulations and running experiments.
You should be able to adapt to new engineering situations and be comfortable abstracting detail in order to understand both the simulations and missile behaviour.
They’re a leading defence organisation, proud of the role they play in supporting the Armed Forces who protect our nations. They partner with governments to work together towards a common goal: defending our freedom.
