Job summary

Hampshire County Council in England is recruiting a Learning & Development Officer within the Learning & Development Team to support the Children’s Services workforce. You’ll design and deliver high-quality training to build professional capability and support the development of social work students and Newly Qualified Social Workers (ASYE).

You will lead reflective supervision, observations and quality assurance, and promote evidence-informed practice through blended learning and group

Qualifications

• Social Work England registration required.
• Practice Education Standards of Proficiency (PEPS) accreditation required.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver and evaluate training across Children’s Services.
• Support and assess social work students and NQSWs, including ASYE.
• Provide reflective supervision, direct observations, and QA processes.
• Facilitate group learning and blended learning approaches to development.
• Act as a link between frontline services and Learning & Development, promoting evidence-based practice.
• Champion knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across Children’s Services.
