Job summary

Halton Borough Council's Children’s Social Care service is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join the Social Work Academy. You will support high-quality, child-focused practice and help develop staff through training, coaching and workforce development.

You will lead learning initiatives, influence practice standards and quality assurance, and embed learning from audits, reviews and inspections to drive continuous improvement across the workforce.

Responsibilities

• Lead learning and development programmes for the Social Work Academy.
• Provide safeguarding and practice support through training, coaching and mentoring.
• Support practitioners and managers with evidence-informed practice and audits.
