Job summary

Build Recruitment is recruiting a Scheduler/Planner for a Shaftesbury-based role delivering repair and maintenance services to tenants. You will schedule trades, coordinate repairs and liaise with tenants to fix appointment times, while tracking progress and updating systems.

Ideal candidates will have scheduling or planning experience, familiarity with IT tools, and a proactive, customer-focused approach to problem-solving in a busy housing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling, planning or coordination roles.
• Experience in social housing, property maintenance or construction preferred.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate appointments for tradespeople carrying out repairs and maintenance.
• Liaise with tenants to arrange convenient appointment times and provide updates.
• Monitor job progress and ensure works are completed within agreed timescales.
• Communicate with operatives, supervisors and contract managers to manage daily workloads.
• Update internal systems and maintain accurate records of jobs and appointments.
• Handle incoming calls, emails and enquiries professionally.
• Identify and resolve scheduling issues, cancellations and missed appointments.
• Work closely with the wider team to ensure the smooth running of the contract.
