Job summary

A specialist recruitment agency is seeking experienced Pipe Layers for a multi-million energy infrastructure project on the Isle of Skye. The ideal candidates will have a valid CSCS card and Pipe Laying Certification, along with experience in civil engineering. Responsibilities include drainage installation, setting out levels, and ensuring trench safety. This is a long-term contract with a competitive rate of £25.70 per hour and accommodation provided. A structured 11-on, 3-off rotation starts in February 2026.

Qualifications

• Proven experience on large civil engineering sites, especially in utility infrastructure.
• Must have a CSCS Card (Blue or Gold), Pipe Laying Certification, and relevant tickets.

Responsibilities

• Install deep and shallow drainage systems to specifications.
• Accurately set out drainage lasers and levels.
• Lay utility ducting and services around tower bases.
• Ensure trench support and safety measures are adhered to.
• Build and fit manholes, inspection chambers, and headwalls.
