Job Introduction

Due to an internal move, we are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive to join the well-established and successful team at our dealership in Coventry.

Listers ŠKODA Coventry is one of the largest ŠKODA retailers in the UK, with ŠKODA UK achieving a remarkable 2024, including a significant rise in UK registrations and a record-breaking 4% market share.

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join a growing team as ŠKODA UK continues its success.

The working hours are from 8:30 am to 6 pm, Monday to Saturday, with a day off during the week, and 10 am to 4 pm on Sundays on a rota basis.

Benefits include a company car and an OTE of £50,000.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Ensure each customer feels valued by understanding their needs and matching them with the right vehicle, features, and add-ons.
  • Build trust and communicate effectively to exceed customer expectations through qualification and first impressions.
  • Maximize opportunities via prospecting, follow-up calls, inbound inquiries, walk-ins, and online leads.
  • Achieve monthly KPIs for unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration, and add-on products.
  • Comply with FCA and data protection regulations by accurately recording customer and vehicle data to enhance the customer database.
About You
  • Previous experience as a car sales executive, retail manager, or sales manager is preferred.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed targets.
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport with customers.
  • Potential to develop a successful career in automotive sales.
  • Valid UK driving license is required.
  • Motor trade or dealership experience is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
