Job Introduction

Due to an internal move, we are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive to join the well-established and successful team at our dealership in Coventry.

Listers ŠKODA Coventry is one of the largest ŠKODA retailers in the UK. ŠKODA UK celebrated a remarkable 2024 with a significant rise in UK registrations and a record-breaking 4% market share.

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join our team as we continue to grow and ŠKODA UK aims to sustain their success.

The working hours are from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Saturday, with a day off during the week. Additionally, there will be a rota to work from 10 am to 4 pm on Sundays.

Benefits include a company car and an OTE of £50,000.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Sales Executive with Listers, you will ensure every customer feels valued by understanding their needs and how our vehicles fit into their lives. Your goal is to match customers with the right car, features, and add-ons, ensuring complete satisfaction throughout the process.

  • Build trust, communicate effectively, and exceed customer expectations through proper qualification and first impressions.
  • Maximise opportunities via prospecting, follow-up calls, inbound enquiries, walk-in prospects, and internet leads.
  • Achieve monthly KPIs for unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration, and add-on products to maximise profit.
  • Adhere to FCA and data protection regulations by accurately collecting customer and vehicle data to enhance our customer database.
About You
  • Previous experience as a car sales executive, retail manager, or sales manager is preferred.
  • You should demonstrate a proven ability to meet and exceed targets.
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport with customers.
  • Potential to develop a successful career in the industry.
  • Valid UK driving license is required.
  • Experience in motor trade, automotive, or car dealership is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.
