A leading organic food company based in Highweek is seeking motivated individuals for a role involving product handling and machinery operation. You will be responsible for ensuring health and safety practices are followed, as well as carrying out quality checks. The position includes a rolling shift pattern of 4 nights on and 4 nights off. Ideal candidates will possess strong team working skills, attentiveness to detail, and effective communication abilities. Working at our Newton abbot site, one of our speciality production site, you'll undertake a range of tasks which will include the handling of product and control of equipment, ensuring Health & Safety measures are followed, carrying out quality checks and setting machines up for different products.
You will be trained in multiple skills such as packing, washouts, machine set-up, hygiene, H&S, quality checks, rotation, temperature checking and MHE.
The role covers a 12 hour shift, (6:00pm until 6:00am), 4 nights on, 4 nights off rolling shift pattern.
