Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Bristol is seeking a Skilled Inspector to perform visual inspections of aerospace components across the manufacturing process and to read CMM reports for conformity. You will use precision measuring tools, complete quality records, and work with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve issues, under a PAYE contract through AMS for 12 months.

This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration within a high-specification manufacturing

Qualifications

• Essential: Modern Apprenticeship / NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing or engineering, preferably aerospace or precision industries.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes and procedures.
• Strong Health & Safety awareness in a manufacturing environment.

• Ensure all work is completed in line with quality, safety, and process requirements.
• Work closely with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement activities.

The skills you'll need:

• A Modern Apprenticeship, Time-Served Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is essential for this role.
• Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment, preferably in aerospace, precision engineering, or high-specification industries.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow defined processes and procedures.
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety requirements within a manufacturing environment.
