Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Bristol is seeking a Skilled Inspector to perform visual inspections of aerospace components across the manufacturing process and to read CMM reports for conformity. You will use precision measuring tools, complete quality records, and work with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve issues, under a PAYE contract through AMS for 12 months.

This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration within a high-specification manufacturing

Qualifications

• Essential: Modern Apprenticeship / NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing or engineering, preferably aerospace or precision industries.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes and procedures.
• Strong Health & Safety awareness in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of aerospace components throughout manufacturing.
• Read and interpret CMM reports to verify component conformity.
• Use precision measuring instruments and binocular microscopes.
• Review inspection documentation, quality records, and non-conformance paperwork.
• Ensure all work adheres to quality, safety, and process requirements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement.
