Job summary

Barhale is seeking a Site Supervisor/Working Foreman to lead a team of operatives on civil engineering projects. You will ensure safe, on-time, within-budget delivery and supervise all site activity, including coordination with sub-contractors.

The role requires a strong on-site presence and people-management skills. Essential qualifications include SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS supervisor card, First Aid, NRSWA, and a UK driving license.

Qualifications

• Extensive supervisory/foreman experience in civil engineering.
• Solid knowledge of construction methods, H&S and legal regulations.
• Experience with drainage, manholes, temporary works and shaft projects.

Responsibilities

• Health and Safety: promote Barhale rules and maintain safe working cultures.
• Quality: ensure works are delivered snag-free and to procedures.
• Management: supervise operatives and sub-contractors, plan daily work.
• Scheduling: organise and coordinate on-site activities to meet deadlines.
• Communication: brief workforce daily and maintain records.
