Job summary

M Group is seeking a site-delivery professional to oversee live schemes within our Clean Water Capital Delivery Team. You will coordinate with Highways Inspectors and clients, ensuring safety and compliance across multiple MS projects.

Responsibilities include audits, mentoring teams, and ensuring smooth progression from start to finish, with standby duties to guarantee uninterrupted service. UK driving is required.

Qualifications

  • Experience in water industry with ability to manage direct labour and subcontractors.
  • Proficient with MS Office and IT systems.
  • Project and programme management skills with safety focus.
  • Water SHEA or CSCS certification held or in progress.
  • NRSWA supervision or SMSTS certification, with excavation training.
  • Valid full driving licence required.

This role will be within our Clean Water Capital Delivery Team- Our teams deliver various schemes from Mains Renewal, Diversions and PMVs all in aid of supporting the UU clean water network.

What you'll be doing?

You'll oversee live sites, liaising with local Highways Inspectors and building strong client relationships. Working closely with the planning team, you'll check compliance, conduct regular site audits, and ensure health & safety standards are maintained.

You'll provide real-time feedback from site visits, manage teams to deliver on each task, and ensure all sites progress smoothly from start to finish. You'll also work collaboratively with task teams to resolve any issues and support project delivery, including participation in standby working to ensure uninterrupted service.

What you'll bring?
  • Have you gained experience in the water industry and know how to manage direct labour and subcontractor teams?
  • Are you comfortable using MS Office and other IT systems?
  • Do you have project and programme management skills, along with essential Water SHEA or CSCS certification?
  • Are you qualified in NRSWA supervision or SMSTS, with deep excavation training?
  • Do you hold a full, current driving licence?
