Job summary

M Group is seeking a skilled project professional to lead and deliver clean water schemes across the UK. You will champion a strong health, safety and environmental culture on every project and drive outcomes from initiation to close with our operational teams.

You will review designs, manage programmes and ensure projects are completed safely, on time and within budget, contributing to the sustainable management of water infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental standards and safe delivery practices.
• Hold SMSTS (or equivalent) and a valid UK driving licence.
• Knowledge of water networks and mains renewal techniques.
• Understanding of NEC contracts and project management practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a range of clean water projects, including slip lining, open cut, pipe bursting, network upgrades and maintenance works.
• Oversee delivery from start to finish, ensuring works are completed safely, on time and within budget; review designs and manage programmes using MS Project or similar and collaborate with operational teams.

What will you be doing?

You'll lead a range of clean water projects, including slip lining, open cut, pipe bursting, network upgrades and maintenance works. Safety is our licence to operate, so you'll champion a strong health, safety and environmental culture across every project.

You'll oversee delivery from start to finish, ensuring works are completed safely, on time and within budget. You'll review and challenge designs where needed, manage project programmes using Microsoft Project (or similar), and work closely with operational teams to drive successful project outcomes.

What you’ll bring

• Do you have a strong understanding of SHE standards and safe delivery practices?
• Do you hold SMSTS (or equivalent) and a valid UK driving licence?
• Knowledge of water networks and mains renewal techniques
• Understanding of NEC contracts and managing projects effectively
