Job summary

M Group is recruiting a Site Manager to lead our Yorkshire Water contract from Beverley Depot. You’ll guide the delivery of Developer Services activities, oversee new connections, service installations and mains works, and ensure safe, compliant operations.

You’ll work with highway inspectors, traffic management teams and client stakeholders, monitor risk assessments, and drive performance to maximise SLA and contract KPIs while maintaining clean, safe sites.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience of the water industry.
• Effective manager of sub-contractors.
• Project and programme management skills.
• Water SHEA or CSCS is essential for this role.
• Current driving licence is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Developer Services activities on the Yorkshire Water contract from Beverley Depot.
• Maintain safety and ensure work follows procedures and best practice.
• Coordinate with highway inspectors, traffic management, supervisors and client teams.
• Monitor risk assessments and set up sites to ensure NRSWA guidelines are delivered.
• Monitor site activities and inspect work/equipment for defects.
• Deliver the programme efficiently to maximise SLA and contract KPIs.

This is a key leadership role responsible for the delivery of Developer Services activities, including new connections, service installations, mains laying, mains diversions and associated network infrastructure works.

What you’ll be doing?

M Group Water is recruiting for a Site Manager to work on our Yorkshire Water contract based out of our Beverley Depot.

You’ll be a part of our essential team on the repair & maintenance who are responsible for maintaining Yorkshire Waters assets.

You’ll ensure all task teams works undertaken are safe and in line with procedures and best practice.

You’ll will work closely with highway inspectors, traffic management, supervisors and client teams, monitor risk assessments and setup sites to ensure NRSWA guidelines are delivered.

You’ll need to monitor the teams activities to maintain clean and safe work sites, inspecting all work and equipment for any defects.

You’ll be committed to delivering the programme efficiently to maximise SLA and contract KPIs.

What you’ll bring?

• Have you gained knowledge and experience of the water industry?
• Are you an effective manager of sub-contractors?
• Do you have project and programme management skills?
• Do you have Water SHEA or CSCS? This is essential for this role.
• Do you hold a current driving licence? This is essential for this role.
