M Group is seeking a proactive SHE Advisor to safeguard drinking water infrastructure projects across our region. You will drive safety, health and environmental performance, deliver coaching and inductions, and support project mobilisations to ensure regulatory compliance and client satisfaction.
You will collaborate with engineering and operations teams, conduct audits, and lead incident investigations where needed, including root cause analysis, nurturing a safety-first culture on-site.

We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. This role will be within our clean water team. Safeguarding the quality, reliability, and performance of drinking water across our region. We work across complex network systems, enhancing, maintaining, installing, and repairing infrastructure from pipes to water meters, to ensure consistently high-water quality. Through proactive network management and resilient engineering, we help ensure communities have safe, dependable water supplies every day.
You’ll ensure sites are compliant with company procedures, client expectations, and legislative requirements, with a strong focus on continuous improvement in safety, health, and environmental performance. Support the consistent implementation of SHE standards, promote CDM regulation awareness, and foster SHE skill development across operational and engineering teams. Including delivering coaching, training, and inductions, supporting project mobilisation, and leading well-being campaigns. Identify training needs, conduct competency assessments, and assist with incident investigations, including root cause analysis and serious case reviews. Through proactive engagement and encourage SHE observation reporting and maintain a visible presence on-site, including out-of-hours visits.
