Job description

Site Superintendent

Location: Reading

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Manage M&E project works on site and report to the Project Management Team.
2. Identify and confirm the current status of all subsystems related to Construction, Completions, Quality, and Commissioning.
3. Collate design documentation to assess current status and facilitate availability for use.
4. Coordinate with the Completions team regarding subsystem status and check sheet completion.
5. Participate in planning sessions to review project timelines, upcoming scopes, and vendor site visits.
6. Support vendor visits, including scheduling, site access, and purchase orders.
7. Act as an HSE champion for the area/buildings.
8. Attend progress meetings with the client, demonstrating system status knowledge.
9. Participate in resource requirement meetings with leadership to plan upcoming scopes.
10. Support meetings for upcoming scopes, developing action trackers for issues and actions.
11. Collaborate with the Quality team to ensure documentation readiness for handover.

Qualifications & Experience

1. SMSTS / SSSTS certification and a valid CSCS Card.
2. Qualifying Manager with technical knowledge of M&E scopes.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
4. Planning knowledge, preferably with P6 Primavera.
5. Experience managing supply chain and subcontractors.
6. Knowledge of ORBIT completes software is advantageous.
7. Ability to obtain SC clearance.
