Site Superintendent

Location: Reading

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Manage M&E project works on site and report directly to the Project Management Team.
2. Identify and confirm the current status of all subsystems regarding Construction, Completions, Quality, and Commissioning.
3. Collate current design documentation to assess the status and take necessary actions for availability.
4. Liaise regularly with the Completions team to track subsystem status via check sheets for each tag.
5. Participate in planning sessions to review the PFA, understanding key dates, upcoming scopes, and vendor site visits.
6. Support vendor visits, including scheduling, site access, and purchase orders.
7. Act as an HSE champion for the area/buildings.
8. Attend progress meetings with the client, demonstrating system status knowledge and providing necessary information.
9. Participate in resource requirement meetings with leadership to address upcoming scopes.
10. Support meetings for upcoming scopes, developing action trackers for issues and actions.
11. Liaise with the Quality team to maintain concurrency of LTQRs in preparation for handover.

Qualifications & Experience

• SMSTS / SSSTS certification and a valid CSCS Card.
• Qualifying manager with technical knowledge of M&E scopes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Planning knowledge, preferably P6 Primavera.
• Experience managing supply chains and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of ORBIT completes software is advantageous.
• Ability to obtain SC clearance.
