Job summary

Landmarc Support Services is seeking a Site Operative to support the Training Estate facilities at Ballykinler Camp. You will help maintain clean accommodation blocks, grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient place for Armed Forces to train.

No prior experience required; a can-do attitude and reliability are key. The role offers a permanent contract, 37 hours per week, with weekend duties included and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• General housekeeping and caretaking knowledge.
• Understanding of Health and Safety procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Confidence completing documentation.
• Basic IT skills, including using a tablet.
• A valid UK driving licence is essential due to the rural location.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining camp cleanliness to ensure all facilities remain safe, tidy and fit for use
• Cleaning offices, communal areas and accommodation blocks, including ablutions and shower spaces
• Completing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming
• Managing cleaning materials and supplies to ensure stock is available when needed
• Carrying out basic grounds tasks when required
• Completing accommodation handover and take-back duties
• Recording information accurately using paper-based and digital systems
• Undertaking additional tasks as needed to support the smooth running of the site
