Job summary

Landmarc Support Services Limited is recruiting a Site Operative to support Ammunition Stores and site facilities for Armed Forces training. You will help with grounds, buildings, cleanliness, and documentation in a safety‑conscious, can‑do team environment.

No previous experience required; training will be provided for forklift and safety tasks, with a strong emphasis on health and safety and clear documentation practices.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic IT skills and tablet use.
• Valid UK driving licence for rural site.
• Fork lift licence would be advantageous but training will be provided.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Looking after the camps general cleanliness, ensuring it is fit for purpose.
• Handover and take back site facilities from facility users.
• Cleaning offices, communal facilities and accommodation blocks, including ablutions, shower blocks etc.
• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Stock management tasks.
• Complete all relevant documentation using IT and paper systems.
• Carry out additional requirements as needed.
• General housekeeping and caretaking knowledge.
