Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a team of Area Managers and drive the operational plan at our site. You will guide shift teams, ensure safety, quality, and productivity, and mentor managers to exceed targets.

You will analyse performance metrics, collaborate with HR, Finance, Health & Safety, and Security, and design initiatives to improve site operations. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on continuous improvement for our customers.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of Area Managers.
• Lead operational teams on a shift, deal with issues, and positively impact site performance.
• Analyse shift performance against relevant business objectives, and put in place actions to improve our operational excellence.
• Work closely with other support teams, including HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and Security.
• Design and deliver initiatives across the sites to improve operational performance.
