Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an Area Manager to lead site operations, ensuring safety, quality and productivity meet customer demand. You will manage a team, drive improvements, and oversee projects across the network to enhance efficiency and service levels.

You’ll work on shift patterns, mentor new managers, and implement process improvements to sustain operational excellence across your area.

Qualifications

• Experience in people management.
• Experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership.
• Experience using data to influence business decisions.
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English at C1 level or above.
• Advanced degree, or Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Create, oversee, and drive a culture of safety and wellbeing
• Analyse and implement changes to keep quality and productivity at a consistently high level
• Oversee projects to streamline processes, optimize productivity and increase quality of service for customers within your area of responsibility
• Analyse shift performance against relevant business objectives, and put in place actions to improve our operational excellence
• Work collaboratively with management-level colleagues to standardize shift practices
