Job summary

Thorn Baker Construction is seeking a Site Manager to lead a Midlands-based offsite construction project, coordinating site operations with the main contractor and managing supply chains to hit quality, cost and schedule targets.

You will supervise the design and build process, ensure safe site delivery with SMSTS/CSCS, and liaise with stakeholders to drive a successful handover. A competitive package includes a company car, pension, and generous holiday.

Qualifications

• Experience in offsite or traditional construction - timber/modular.
• Experience of design stages of projects.
• Good communication skills and the ability to deal with clients.

Responsibilities

The Role

The role will focus on being responsible for all site operations relating to the client build process, by working closely with the main contractor and managing their supply chain to achieve targets of quality, cost and time for the scheme. The Site Operations Manager will liaise with the Project Delivery Manager ensuring that planning and scheduling of works is in accordance with the overall programme and work through to the completion and handover of the project.
