Job summary

RG Setsquare is seeking a Modular Site Manager with DBS to lead the safe installation of modular buildings on site in the Bristol area. You will coordinate all on-site activities, from crane operations to snagging, handover and close-out, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors while maintaining HSE and quality standards. DBS is required.

Qualifications

• Experience managing modular or traditional construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and site logistics.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• SMSTS certification and CSCS Manager Card preferred.

Job Summary

The Modular Site Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the safe and efficient installation of modular or prefabricated buildings on site. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. The Site Manager acts as the primary point of contact between the client, contractors, suppliers, and project team throughout the site installation phase.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site activities related to the delivery, installation, and completion of modular buildings.
• Coordinate crane operations, lifting plans, logistics, and module placement.
• Develop and monitor site programmes to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety inspections.
• Supervise subcontractors and site personnel, ensuring work is completed to specification.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, local authorities, and utility providers.

Qualifications

• Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred).
• Valid Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification.
• CSCS Manager Card.
• DBS Required.
• First Aid at Work certification.
