Job summary

Thorn Baker Construction is seeking a Site Manager for the South East region with travel required. The role focuses on all site operations relating to the client build process, coordinating with the main contractor and managing supply chain to meet quality, cost and time targets for the scheme.

The Site Operations Manager will work with the Project Delivery Manager to ensure planning and scheduling aligns with the overall programme, guiding tasks through to project completion and handover.

Qualifications

• Experience in offsite or traditional construction - timber frame.
• Experience of design stages of projects.
• Good communication skills and the ability to deal with clients.
• Customer service orientated.
• SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid.
• Technically skilled and industry aware.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for all site operations relating to the client build process, working closely with the main contractor and managing the supply chain to achieve targets of quality, cost and time for the scheme.
• Liaise with the Project Delivery Manager to ensure planning and scheduling of works is in accordance with the overall programme and work through to completion and handover of the project.
