Job summary

Thorn Baker Construction is seeking a Site Manager to lead site operations for client builds across the North East to North West, with travel required.

You will work with the main contractor and supply chain to deliver on time, to budget, and to the required quality, ensuring handover readiness at project completion.

Qualifications

• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid essential.
• Experience in offsite or traditional construction is preferred.
• Good communication skills and client facing ability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all site operations relating to client build process.
• Coordinate with main contractor and manage supply chain.
• Ensure programme targets for quality, cost and time are met.

Title: Site Manager

Location: North East to North West (travel required)

Salary:£50,000- £55,000 + Car & Package

The Role:

The role will focus on being responsible for all site operations relating to the client build process, by working closely with the main contractor and managing their supply chain to achieve targets of quality, cost and time for the scheme. The Site Operations Manager will liaise with the Project Delivery Manager ensuring that planning and scheduling of works is in accordance with the overall programme and work through to the completion and handover of the project.

About You:

• Experience in offsite or traditional construction - timber frame
• Experience of design stages of projects
• Good communication skills and the ability to deal with clients
• Customer service orientated
• SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid
• Technically skilled and industry aware
