Job summary

Thorn Baker Construction is seeking a Site Manager for projects in the North East to North West, with travel required. The role focuses on site operations, coordinating with the main contractor and supply chain to achieve quality, cost and schedule targets.

The ideal candidate has offsite or timber frame experience, strong communication and customer-service orientation, and holds SMSTS/CSCS and First Aid qualifications. Comprehensive package offered including company car.

Experience in offsite or traditional construction - timber frame.
Experience of design stages of projects.
Good communication skills and the ability to deal with clients.

Responsibilities

Responsible for all site operations relating to the client build process, working closely with the main contractor and managing supply chain to meet quality, cost and time targets.
Liaise with the Project Delivery Manager to ensure planning and scheduling aligns with the overall programme and oversee completion and handover.

The Role

The role will focus on being responsible for all site operations relating to the client build process, by working closely with the main contractor and managing their supply chain to achieve targets of quality, cost and time for the scheme. The Site Operations Manager will liaise with the Project Delivery Manager ensuring that planning and scheduling of works is in accordance with the overall programme and work through to the completion and handover of the project.
