Job summary

Thorn Baker Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an experienced Site Manager to join a leading construction and property development business delivering high-quality residential projects across Gloucestershire and Worcestershire.

You will be responsible for day-to-day on-site management, coordinating subcontractors and trades to ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery, while maintaining site records and liaising with clients and the project team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as Site Manager within construction.
• Experience delivering residential or high-quality building projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and site management.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• The ability to manage subcontractors and site teams effectively.
• A strong understanding of health & safety requirements.
• A proactive approach to problem solving.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day operations of construction sites
• Coordinating subcontractors, trades and suppliers
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards
• Managing site programmes and monitoring progress against key milestones
• Conducting regular site inspections and ensuring high standards of workmanship
• Maintaining strong health & safety standards and ensuring compliance with site procedures
• Managing site logistics, deliveries and materials
• Liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors and the wider project team
• Identifying and resolving issues on site
• Attending site meetings and providing regular progress updates
• Managing snagging and assisting with the successful handover of projects
• Maintaining accurate site records and relevant project documentation

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join an established construction and property development business delivering high-quality residential projects across the Gloucestershire and Worcestershire area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Site Manager who takes pride in delivering projects safely, on programme and to a high standard.

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of projects on site, coordinating subcontractors, trades and suppliers while ensuring quality, health & safety and programme requirements are consistently met.

The Role
