Job summary

RTL Group is recruiting a Site Manager to deliver a water treatment scheme in Preston with an immediate start. You will oversee tunnelling and shaft construction, manage day-to-day site operations and lead subcontractors to ensure work is on programme and to specification.

The role requires a strong civil engineering background, experience with underground works, and qualifications such as CSCS Black/Gold and SMSTS; a UK driving licence and IT literacy are essential for on-site coordination.

Qualifications

  • Strong civil engineering background.
  • Experience managing specialist subcontractors and underground works.
  • Knowledge of temporary works and deep excavations.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Site Manager to help deliver a water treatment scheme in Preston, with an immediate start available. The project involves tunnelling and shaft construction, so previous experience managing underground works is essential.
