My client, a leading main contractor based in London, currently has several exciting new projects. They are seeking a Site Manager to oversee one of their recently won projects.

The company is in a strong position, experiencing growth due to recent project wins. Privately owned and highly respected, they work across sectors including Commercial, Residential, Education, Heritage, Data Centres, and Industrial. They focus on collaboration and building strong relationships with clients and professional teams to uphold high standards and quality.

The Role:

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the successful on-site delivery of a mix of refurbishment, cut & carve, and CAT A and CAT B fit-outs. Reporting to a Senior Site Manager, you will lead site teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to high standards.

The Project:

The project involves a commercial refurbishment, including some structural works, facade refresh, and a CAT A fit-out in Central London.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily site operations from pre-start to handover
2. Manage health & safety on site, ensuring compliance with standards
3. Coordinate and monitor subcontractor performance
4. Maintain quality control procedures
5. Collaborate with commercial and design teams to resolve issues and meet project goals
6. Lead site progress meetings and reporting

Required Skills & Experience:

1. Proven track record delivering high-value commercial or fit-out projects within a Tier 1 main contractor
2. 5+ years' experience in construction management
3. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
