Job summary

Coinford Holdings Ltd in West Sussex is looking for an experienced Site Manager to take day-to-day management of groundwork and reinforced concrete frame projects. You will oversee the on-site team, coordinate resources, and drive programme delivery while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

The role demands strong leadership, excellent communication with subcontractors and clients, and hands-on problem solving to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• SMSTS certification is required.
• First Aid at Work certification required.
• Proven site management experience on groundwork and/or RC frame projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work with all stakeholders.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of the site including foremen, engineers, plant and labour.
• Ensuring risk assessments and toolbox talks are carried out.
• Driving programme delivery and coordinating resources to meet targets.
• Maintaining client relationships and representing Coinford on site.
• Ensuring high standards of health & safety and quality at all times.
• Managing sub-contractors and monitoring their performance against programme.
• Producing and maintaining accurate site records and progress reports.
• Complete IT induction and training within first 1-3 months.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to take day-to-day management responsibility for groundwork and RC frame projects across West Sussex. You will oversee the site team, drive programme delivery and maintain the highest standards of safety and quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Day-to-day management of the site including foremen, engineers, plant and labour
• Ensuring all risk assessment briefings and toolbox talks are carried out
• Driving programme delivery - coordinating resources, plant and materials to meet targets
• Maintaining client relationships and representing Coinford professionally on site
• Ensuring the highest standards of H&S and quality are maintained at all times
• Managing sub-contractors and ensuring their performance meets programme requirements
• Producing and maintaining accurate site records and progress reports
• Completion of IT induction and training programme within the first 1-3 months

REQUIREMENTS

• CITB 5-Day SMSTS
• First Aid at Work Certification
• Proven site management experience on groundwork and / or RC frame projects
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well with all stakeholders
• Right to work in the UK
