Job summary

Fortus Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Site Manager for external planned maintenance schemes across Tonbridge and surrounding areas. The role involves leading sub-contractors and the site team, ensuring works are delivered to specification, and conducting pre/post inspections with a focus on health, safety and quality.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proven track record managing external planned maintenance projects, and hold SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS, plus

• A valid SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS are required.
• A valid UK driving licence and your own vehicle are required.

• Manage delivery of works to specification
• Have several direct reports to manage including RLO's and office staff
• Pre & post inspections of works
• Health & safety & quality checks
• Complete regular snagging inspections

Site Manager - Kent

External Planned Maintenance - Social Housing

Up to £250 per day

Our Client, a leading nationwide construction contractor are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their planned work division on a temporary contract.

Projects that are being delivered will be external planned maintenance schemes of work. They will be being delivered to tower blocks and scattered properties across Tonbridge and the surrounding areas.

On a day to day basis, you will act as an integral part of the operational team and carry out the following duties:

• Management of sub-contractors & direct operatives
• Lead the site team to the best of your ability
• Manage delivery of works to specification
• Have several direct reports to manage including RLO's and office staff
• Pre & post inspections of works
• Health & safety & quality checks
• Complete regular snagging inspections

My client are looking for someone that has strong communication skills and a proven track record managing and delivering external planned maintenance projects schemes of work.

A valid SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS are required. A valid UK drivers licence and your own vehicle is also required for this position.

This is a temporary to permanent position which will offer great development opportunities for the successful candidate.
