Job summary

Fortus Recruitment Group is seeking an Assistant Site Manager for external planned maintenance projects in Kent, on a permanent basis. You will manage sub-contractors and site operatives, lead the site team, and ensure works are delivered to specification across tower blocks and scattered properties under a six-year contract.

The role requires strong communication skills and a proven track record in managing external planned maintenance, with SSSTS/SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS, and Asbestos Awareness

Qualifications

• Experience in external planned maintenance projects is essential.
• Strong communication skills and leadership capability.
• Knowledge of safety and quality checks on site.

Responsibilities

• Manage sub-contractors and direct operatives.
• Lead the site team to deliver works to specification.
• Oversee delivery of works with direct reports including RLOs and office staff.
• Conduct pre- and post-inspections of works.
• Perform health & safety and quality checks on site.
