Job summary

Fortus Recruitment Group is seeking a Site Manager for external planned maintenance in Kent, focused on roofing, windows and doors on tower blocks and scattered properties. This long-term role sits within a social housing framework on a five-year contract and requires a strong track record delivering external works.

You will lead sub-contractor teams, manage reports, ensure works meet specifications, conduct pre- and post-inspections, and uphold health, safety and quality standards.

Site Manager - Kent

External Planned Maintenance - Social Housing

Up to £55,000 Plus Package

Our Client, a leading nationwide construction contractor are currently looking for an experienced site manager to join their planned works division on a long term external scheme of work.

Projects that are being delivered will be Roofing, Windows and Doors projects. They will be being delivered to tower blocks and scattered properties around Kent on a 5 year contract.

On a day to day basis, you will act as an integral part of the operational team and carry out the following duties:

• Management of sub-contractors & direct operatives


• Lead the site team to the best of your ability


• Manage delivery of works to specification


• Have several direct reports to manage including RLO's and office staff


• Pre & post inspections of works


• Health & safety & quality checks

My client are looking for someone with strong communication skills and a proven track record managing and delivering external planned maintenance projects. A valid SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS, and Asbestos Awareness are required. A full UK Drivers License is also required for this position.
