Job summary

Fortus Recruitment Group Limited is recruiting an experienced site manager for a permanent role in Kent, delivering external planned maintenance roofing schemes on tower blocks and scattered properties.

You will lead subcontractors and the site team, ensure delivery to specification, supervise reporting staff, and perform pre- and post-inspections along with health, safety and quality checks.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and proven track record delivering roofing planned maintenance projects.
• Valid SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS, and Asbestos Awareness are required.
• Experience managing external maintenance works on towers or scattered properties is preferred.

External Planned Maintenance - Social Housing

Up to £55,000 Plus Package

Our Client, a leading nationwide construction contractor are currently looking for an experienced site manager to join their planned works division on a long term roofing scheme of work.

Projects that are being delivered will are external maintenance projects. They will be being delivered to tower blocks and scattered properties around Kent.

On a day to day basis, you will act as an integral part of the operational team and carry out the following duties:

• Management of sub-contractors & direct operatives
• Lead the site team to the best of your ability
• Manage delivery of works to specification
• Have several direct reports to manage including RLO's and office staff
• Pre & post inspections of works
• Health & safety & quality checks

My client are looking for someone with strong communication skills and a proven track record managing and delivering roofing planned maintenance projects. A valid SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS, and Asbestos Awareness are required.

This is a permanent position which will offer training and development as well as good progression opportunities for the successful candidate.
